The Athens International Airport is hosting the exhibition “West of the Acropolis” that was designed exclusively for this site by the Herakleidon Museum. This exhibition aspires to introduce the visitors of Athens to important but lesser known city destinations. The hills and sites to the west of the Acropolis offer a trip in space and time and give the visitor the opportunity to learn about the city and its history from classical antiquity to the first decades of the modern Greek state.
