Immigration officials may also request additional documents such as a letter of invitation, evidence that you have booked accommodation, or proof that you have arranged onward or return transportation.
You can also enquire about the entry requirements for your destination at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) travel center.

Be informed about the entry requirements
Lost or stolen passport
You must report the loss of your passport immediately at your nearest local Police Station and file a report to your nearest embassy or consulate of your home country.
Keeping extra passport photos with you, a photo of your passport details page on your phone, or a printed copy, may be useful.
Designate a place to keep your documents when you are on the move, i.e. a certain bag/inner pocket and make sure you always put them back there immediately after using them, so you don't lose them.
