The Acropolis and Parthenon

No trip to Athens is complete without a visit to the Acropolis. Perched high above the city, this ancient citadel is home to the iconic Parthenon. A guided tour is the optimal way to fully appreciate the history and significance of these ancient ruins. Don’t forget your camera – the view of Athens from the Acropolis is stunning.

Tip: Visit early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and the heat.

Acropolis Museum
