The year 2010 is the “International Year of Biodiversity” and within the global mobilization for the salvation of the planet's ecosystems, the Goulandris Museum of Natural History commences its activities with a partnership with the Athens International Airport.

Athens International Airport in the framework of its art programme and in cooperation with the Teloglion Foundation of Art of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, hosts at its premised from 18th January till May 31st, 2010 the exhibition under the title “Miró of Majorca”.

Athens International Airport, in cooperation with the non-profit organization Ecocity, which focuses on city and suburban environmental issues, host for the fourth consecutive year at the airport premises a very special environmental awareness exhibition titled “ ECOMOBILITY - Ecological Automation, Contribution to the Environment” from July 1st - September 30th 2009.

Athens International Airport, in cooperation with Militos Editions, hosts at its premises from June 1st through August 30th 2009, the photo exhibition “Aegean from Above” which is a selection of aerial photographs taken by Yiannis Yiannelos from the successful MILITOS Edition.

Athens International Airport, in cooperation with the British Council and the Hellenic Migration Policy Institute, hosts at its premises from February 2nd until April 30th , 2009 the photographic exhibition under the title «City Streets».
