If you already have the boarding pass for your connecting flight, please check the flight information monitors carefully for your gate details & proceed according to relevant signage.
Gates A1-A23 & Gates B1-B31 are located at the Main Terminal Building & Gates A30-A43 are located at the Satellite Terminal Building.
If you don’t have the boarding pass for your connecting flight, please proceed to the nearest transfer desk staffed by the various airlines and ground handlers.
If the transfer desk is not staffed, you may use the available CUSS or web check-in unit for boarding card retrieval or you may proceed to the Check-In Hall on the Departures Level of the Main Terminal Building.
Follow Terminal Signage.
Transfer bags are usually checked through to the final destination. Please check your baggage tag.
If your baggage hasn’t been checked through to the final destination, follow the signs in the terminal for the Baggage Reclaim Area located at level 0 of the Main Terminal Building, pick up your luggage, clear customs and proceed to the Check-In Hall on the Departures Level of the Main Terminal Building.
Minimum connecting times apply ONLY to reservations which include all flight journeys, and any baggage is checked through to your final destination.
Keep in mind that they do not apply if you have arranged your own flight connections, or you need to pick up baggage at Athens International Airport. In such cases, you should allow extra time for your journey, as you will need to follow the terminal signage for the Arrivals Area at the Main Terminal Building, pick up your baggage and then proceed to the departures level of the Main Terminal Building to check in and drop off your baggage for your connecting flight.
Extra time should be taken always into consideration for the required procedures before reaching your gate, such as Security Control & Passport Control depending on your destination.
