Athens International Airport and the Benaki Museum continue their collaboration with a new colourful tribute to art, a new exhibition entitled “Travel through time in red with the Benaki Museum”. Panel compositions of artworks from the collections of the Benaki Museum in which the red color dominates are presented inside the MTB premises and invite visitors and travellers of the Airport to "travel" through the red color of the objects from the Benaki Museum's collections. The specific cultural initiative has been awarded with the Gold Award in the category Destinations – Tourist Attractions during the 2023 Tourism Awards. The exhibition is presented at the Baggage Reclaim Area of AIA and at the Schengen and Non-Schengen Arrival Corridors and will run until the end of December 2023.
