Athens International Airport in collaboration with Geo Routes Cultural Institute which falls under the auspices of the Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO, organise the photo exhibition titled "Secrets of Greece" from April 4 to August 31, 2014.
The aim of the exhibition is to travel the public through the cultural journey of Geo Routes & Aegean Routes to the aspects of views of a secret Greece, offering a unique experiential journey to the natural wealth of our country as well as into its rare cultural, social, historical and gastronomic character.

The seven "Secrets of Greece" to be exhibited at the airport, are:

Mount Olympus - In the Footprints of the Gods
Lavreotiki - The Technological and Cultural Park at Lavrion, Attica
Amorgos Ιsland - St. Fanourios Church
Epirus - Dilofo Village
Northwest Macedonia - The Prespa Lakes
Eastern Mani, Peloponnese - Diros Caves
Mediterranean Diet


In parallel, throughout the day a video with 250 selected photographs from all over Greece will be projected at the exhibition area. 

The cultural travels for Greece Geo Routes & Aegean Routes are held under the auspices of the Greek National Commission for UNESCO by relating their content to the programme of the international organisation “Culture – Tourism – Development”.  Each photo in the exhibition "Secrets of Greece" is accompanied by a corresponding thematic key which encodes and outlines the subject matter of each journey.

The new exhibition at the airport will be open to the public 24 hours a day in the specially designated area "Art & Culture" at the arrivals level (Entrance 1).
