Art & Environment” Exhibition Area – Departures Level, 2nd Floor
Incorporating social responsibility and environmental awareness, Athens International Airport and Polyeco Contemporary Art Initiative join forces, to take passengers and visitors of Athens airport on a journey through art. The digital installation by artist Angelo Plessas, entitled EverythingHappensAsItShould.com, presents an interpretation of two disparate realms like nature and media, while raising awareness about environmental degradation, which constitutes one of the biggest challenges of the 21st century. The work of art invites us to reflect on the energy that each of us consume while chatting on social media about nature itself.
