The sculptures, 87 life-sized fibre-glass cows, painted and decorated with various designs from new and renowned artists have been placed on several spots of the city, such as the historical centre of Athens, central squares like Syntagma & Omonoia square, Ermou street, Panepistimiou Avenue, the National Library, the Metro, the Athens Airport and elsewhere. At the conclusion of the event the art pieces will be auctioned, and the amount collected after Athens’s auction will be offered to the organisation “Together for Children”.

Athens International Airport contributed to the promotion of this art event by “adopting” two cow sculptures the painting of which was entrusted to to children from the Association “The Smile of the Child” and to Mrs. Hara Capsali, creative director of AIA’s advertising company “Leo Burnett”.

The two cow sculptures are being placed at Departures Level of Athens International Airport, in front of Entrances 2 & 3.

“Cow’s Dream Journey” sculpture was painted by children from the Association “The Smile of the Child” & “Cownector” sculpture was painted by Mrs. Hara Capsali, Creative Director “Leo Burnett”.
