on the new “flights” of the “Fly me to the Moon” programme
at Athens International Airport
"Fly me to the Moon" cultural and entertainment programme continues for the sixth consecutive year at the Athens International Airport, taking passengers and airport visitors… all over Greece!
The new programme invites travellers and airport visitors to a unique experience, through which they will discover Greek destinations, local tastes, learn about the history and culture of each part of the country, even to dance before flying out of Athens!
With the first event dedicated to the region ofCentral Greece, on Friday, July 6th, “Fly me to the Moon 6” will introduce passengers and visitors to the beauties of Viotia, Evia, Evrytania, Fthiotida and Fokida, to the local tastes, as well as to the wonderful music of Nikos Skalkotas in a special tribute to the distinguished Greek composer.
With the first “taste” of Central Greece, the airport’s sixth "Fly me to the moon” begins to “unfold” the natural beauty of Greece, the cultural identity, the gastronomy, the customs and traditions, and the special character of each region.
