Santorini in Motion
On 29 September, top freerunning and parkour athletes are going to settle their score
with gravity in Santorini, as they offer a unique spectacle. The celebrated volcano, the
Aegean and Cycladic architecture provide the backdrop to this event as part of the Red
Bull Art of Motion competition. Almost 20 traceurs will call on their more inventive
tricks, with style and matchless rhythm in their effort to respond to the demands of a
natural “stage”, as the athletes leap over the natural hurdles they come across in the
island’s picturesque cobbled streets. | Έχουν διαφορές με τη βαρύτητα και θα τις λύσουν
στη Σαντορίνη. Στις 29 Σεπτεμβρίου οι κορυφαίοι αθλητές του freerunning και parkour θα
προσφέρουν θέαμα σε έναν αγώνα πέρα από τα όρια, με φόντο το τρομερό ηφαίστειο, την
κυκλαδίτικη αρχιτεκτονική και το γαλάζιο του Αιγαίου, στο πλαίσιο του Red Bull Art of Motion.
Περίπου 20 traceurs θα επιστρατεύσουν τα πιο ευφάνταστα κόλπα τους με στιλ και ρυθμό
απαράμιλλο, στην προσπάθειά τους να αντεπεξέλθουν στις απαιτήσεις μιας φυσικής «πίστας»,
καθώς θα υπερπηδούν τα εμπόδια που θα συναντούν στα ειδυλλιακά καλντερίμια του νησιού.
