The flagship of Athenian gastronomy, the Michelin two-star Spondi has just become more ac-
cessible to an expanded clientele thanks to its imaginative ‘tapas’ – the restaurant’s exceptional
'petits plats' of modern French cuisine, such as the foie gras – orange/chocolate Xocopili with
spices, in appetizer size portions. Each small dish costs €10, but if you want to leave the culinary
experience to the chef, ask for the ‘Tapas menu’, which includes six dishes and costs a total of
€69 per person. You can accompany the menu with two glasses of wine for an additional €11.

It would be no exaggeration to say that this is
the finest view in Athens. However, the price
of the more affordable menu is certainly down
to earth, for with just €20 you can enjoy such
delicacies as Greek-style sushi, Symi shrimps
in ouzo sauce and tomato risotto with crab, plus
unlimited wine or raki. To reach the restaurant
with ease, comfort and in ‘cinematographic’ style,
ascend Lycabettus Hill by taking the cable car
(from 1 Aristippou St.).

σκεται η ωραιότερη θέα της πόλης. Η τιμή του
οικονομικού μενού ωστόσο είναι προσγειωμένη,

καβαλιώτικη σάλτσα ούζου και το ριζότο ντομά-
