The architect who transformed Elounda into
one of the most premium destinations in the
world has built five of the six large resorts that
have defined this elite Cretan peninsula. He of-
fered free architectural advice to everyone who
built houses in the area in the 1970s, while he
has been recognised by the European Union
for his structures, which blend harmoniously
into the environment.
