The ground floor space is very spacious and
comfortable, dominated by a lively bar. Gather

Made’s baristas organise coffee tastings every

This innovative space first made its appearance as an alternative bar in 1989, housed in a neoclassical
building in the historic centre. Soon enough it started launching exhibitions and theatrical performances. This
inevitably led to the multi-dimensional cultural centre we see today, which hosts concerts, performances,
screenings, academic discussions, art festivals and short film competitions, for professionals and amateurs
alike. From 28 October - 6 November, Booze Cooperativa is welcoming the Athens Video Dance Project
organised by Team Progressive followed by film directing seminars and lectures on the aesthetics of the
visual arts. However, the wide variety of events Booze Cooperativa hosts does not take away from its bar
physiognomy: with exceptional aesthetics, the upbeat ambiance and positive energy from both the staff and
customers is framed by the imposing chandelier that dominates the main area. | Πρωτοποριακός χώρος,
έκανε την εμφάνισή του ως εναλλακτικό μπαρ το 1989 σε ένα νεοκλασικό του ιστορικού κέντρου και πολύ
σύντομα λανσάρισε εκθέσεις και θεατρικές παραστάσεις, με αποτέλεσμα να εξελιχθεί σε έναν πολυδιάστατο
πολιτιστικό κέντρο με συναυλίες, performances, προβολές, ακαδημαϊκές συζητήσεις, εικαστικά φεστιβάλ
