CANDIA.
T he sea and land of the Mediter-
ranean are the sources of inspi-
ration for the sleep products of
CANDIA, a company that pri-
oritises the use of raw materials
generously provided by nature. Long before
sustainability became an urgent need, CANDIA
had learned to conscientiously protect the en-
vironment by using natural materials and sus-
tainable manufacturing practices. By choosing
raw materials that are fully recyclable or de-
rived from recycled materials, collected with
non-harmful methods, and using techniques
that minimize the energy footprint, CANDIA
is firmly committed to remaining among the
pioneers of sustainable development and tack-
ling climate change.
This keen environmental awareness culmi-
nated in the BODYFIX collection of mattress-
es, lovingly handmade with materials such as
organic cotton, natural horsehair, coconut fi-
bre, camel hair and cashmere, all free of any
chemical treatment. The award of the ISO
14001 environmental management certifica-
tion simply served to formalise these efforts
of CANDIA to demonstrate in practice its re-
spect for our planet.
