There has always been artistic and cultural interchange between the Lagoon peoples
-among them the Kyaman tribe. Time Life photographer, Eliot Elisofon, photographed
some Kyaman smiths crafting gold pendants in Anna Village, in 1972. After documenting
the process, he purchased this pendant and later gifted it to the National Museum of
African Art, Smithsonian Institution. | Ανέκαθεν υπήρξε καλλιτεχνική και πολιτιστική
επικοινωνία ανάμεσα στις φυλές του Lagoon, ανάμεσά τους και των Kyaman. Ο φωτογράφος
του περιοδικού Time Life, Eliot Elisofon, φωτογράφισε τεχνίτες που έφτιαχναν αυτό το
χρυσό περιδέραιο στο χωριό Άννα, το 1972, το αγόρασε και αργότερα το δώρισε στο Εθνικό
