Paragliding over the Greek landscape
is a unique experience. It is not only
the constantly changing views from
high in the air, but above all the ultimate
sense of freedom. Paragliders first
appeared in Greece in the late 1980s and
soon attracted a fanatic following. It is an
adventure sport that requires, in addition
to the basic equipment, instruction (at the
Freedom school, for example). But your first
flight will be in a tandem paraglider and it will
be the start of a dream. | Η πτήση με αλεξίπτωτο
πλαγιάς (παραπέντε) είναι μοναδική εμπειρία
πάνω από το ελληνικό τοπίο. Δεν είναι μόνο οι
εικόνες που εναλλάσσονται, αλλά κυρίως η αίσθηση
ελευθερίας που κυριεύει τους αιωροπτεριστές. Στην
Ελλάδα, το αλεξίπτωτο πλαγιάς εμφανίστηκε στα τέλη
της δεκαετίας του ’80 και απέκτησε φανατικό κοινό.
Η ενασχόληση με αυτό προϋποθέτει, εκτός από τον
βασικό εξοπλισμό, εκπαίδευση (στη σχολή Freedom, για
παράδειγμα), αλλά η πρώτη σας πτήση θα γίνει με διθέσιο
αλεξίπτωτο και θα είναι η αρχή ενός ονείρου.
