The springs of Acheron River is an area of
outstanding beauty located at the border
of Thesprotia and Preveza. Apart from
the natural beauty, the springs of Acheron
is known worldwide as in ancient Greek
mythology, Acheron was one of the five rivers
of the Greek underworld. The river which is
a very popular destination for nature lovers,
covers a distance of 64 km and it flows through
a narrow and imposing canyon formed by the
mountains of Paramythia and Souli. The outlet of
the straits is found in the village of Glyki, which can
be your starting point if you wish to enjoy a horse-
riding trip. | Oι πηγές του ποταμού Αχέροντα συνθέτουν
ένα τοπίο απαράμιλλης φυσικής ομορφιάς στα σύνορα
Θεσπρωτίας και Πρέβεζας στην Ήπειρο. Οι πηγές του
Αχέροντα είναι γνωστές και εξαιτίας της ελληνικής
μυθολογίας, καθώς ο Αχέρων ήταν ένας από τους πέντε
ποταμούς του Άδη. Ο ποταμός καλύπτει μια απόσταση 64
χιλιομέτρων και κυλάει μέσα από ένα στενό κι εντυπωσιακό
φαράγγι, που σχηματίζεται από τα βουνά της Παραμυθιάς και
του Σουλίου. Στην έξοδο του στενού του ποταμού υπάρχει το
χωριό Γλυκή, που μπορεί να γίνει αφετηρία για να απολαύσετε
