Continuing the tradition of free running
competition begun in 2007, Red Bull Art
of Motion made the journey for a fourth
year to Santorini. The competition took
place in Oia, which is internationally known
for its breathtaking sunset view. Contestants
perform free running stunts across the roofs
and balconies of houses, hotels and other
structures, between a designated start and
finish point. The domes of Firostefani (called a
“parkour paradise”) comprise the competition
obstacle course, in a completely natural free
running environment, with no extra construction

διοργάνωσης free running, που ξεκίνησε το 2007, το
Red Bull Art of Motion ταξίδεψε για πέμπτη χρονιά στη
Σαντορίνη, στην επιβλητική Οία, γνωστή για τη θέα και
το ηλιοβασίλεμά της. Οι αγώνες αυτοί συγκεντρώνουν
ταλαντούχους αθλητές, οι οποίοι εκτελούν θεαματικές
φιγούρες, με άξονα το free running, πάνω στις στέγες ή
στα μπαλκόνια σπιτιών, ξενοδοχείων ή άλλων κτιρίων, σε μια
διαδρομή που έχει σχεδιαστεί ειδικά γι’ αυτόν το σκοπό. Οι
στέγες στο Φηροστεφάνι θεωρούνται μάλιστα ο παράδεισος
