Santorini's famous 'baby
tomato', known as “Toma-
taki Santorinis” is an exot-
ic variety that flourishes
thanks to Santorini's hot,
dry weather and arid soil. It is unique of its kind
and its unable to prosper anywhere else on the
planet. Its skin is hard and therefore has a taste
hard to describe but still, let’s try: it tastes like
real tomato. | Το διάσηµο σαντορινιό τοµατάκι
είναι µια εξωτική ποικιλία που ευδοκιµεί χάρη
στο θερµό κλίµα της Σαντορίνης και το άνυδρο
έδαφός της. Είναι µοναδικό στο είδος του και
δεν µπορεί να καλλιεργηθεί πουθενά αλλού στον
πλανήτη. Έχει σκληρό φλοιό και µοναδική γεύση,
που είναι δύσκολο να περιγράψει κανείς, αλλά ας
προσπαθήσουµε: έχει γεύση πραγµατικής ντοµάτας.
