In the Final Destination, curated by the art historian Anna Chatzinassiou, contemporary Greek artists photograph interiors, cities and landscapes, depicting the natural or artificial environment that is submitted to continuous change. In their works, their love for the Greek landscape is evident. Their photographs deal mostly with man’s relationship to the world and to himself. Moreover, the selection of works, as well as the placement of the exhibition is creating interesting correlations between the artists and their photographs at the designated area whereby, hundreds of travelers are daily passing by in order to get to their… Final Destination!

The exhibition is located at the airport’s “Art & Environment” area (Departures, upper level) and remains open 24 hours (accessible to visitors and travellers of the airport).
