THROUGH HIS EYES
October 1907, Fred
Boissonnas climbs to the
top of a 12-metre ladder
and takes a picture of the
Parthenon Frieze. While
many considered this
photo shoot blasphemous,
claiming that these
sculptures were created to
be viewed from the ground,
the work of the great
photographer is met with
glowing reviews.

ο Fred Boissonnas,
ανεβασμένος στην
κορυφή μιας σκάλας 12 μ.,
φωτογραφίζει τη Ζωφόρο
του Παρθενώνα. Αν και
θεωρήθηκε από κάποιους
ύβρις αυτή η φωτογράφιση,
καθώς τα γλυπτά, όπως
