A veritable Mecca for Athenian foodies
and housewives in-the-know, the ultimate
destination for all chefs; calling it Ali Baba’s
Cave is no exaggeration, for here you will
find the most peculiar, hard to find and
humble spices in the world, as well as
some of the most sophisticated. The range
of herbs and spices can be daunting, but
the staff is very polite and will help you
out. My suggestion: just a dash of pastirma
powder will take even the most boring dish

σεφ. Σε αυτό το μαγαζί, που μόνο «Σπηλιά

θα βρείτε τα πιο παράξενα, τα πιο δυσεύρετα,
τα πιο ταπεινά, αλλά και τα πιο εκλεκτά
μπαχαρικά του πλανήτη. Η ποικιλία απ' όλον
τον κόσμο είναι τεράστια, αλλά ευτυχώς το
προσωπικό είναι ευγενέστατο και θα σας
κατατοπίσει. Η δική μου πρόταση; Με λίγη
σκόνη παστουρμά, ακόμα και το πιο βαρετό
πιάτο σας μπορεί να απογειωθεί.
