Korres is
evolving Founded in 1996 by Giorgos Korres, Korres
thanks to Natural Products is a green business success
research and story. With formulas inspired by herbs found in
innovations abundance in the Greek natural environment
and products that are both skin- and environ-
mentally-friendly, Korres is evolving thanks to
its consistent research and innovations. Despite
his phenomenal international achievements,
Korres remains focused on Greek flora, which
involves the elevation and protection of rare
Greek herbs and supporting local communi-
ties. One of the company’s most recent initia-
tives in collaboration with the Organic Farming
Department of the Athens Geoponic Univer-
sity includes the mapping of Greek plant life
in order to identify the most suitable areas for
the cultivation of particular species. However,
the company’s “green” DNA can also be found
in its Organic Herbal Extract Unit that follows
strict environmental codes. For instance, Kor-
res uses natural instead of chemical solvents
to avoid burdening the environment. The fact
that Greek herbs embarked on this incredible
journey across the world through more than
400 Korres products is further proof of how
everything related to nature has one single

κής. Στην πράξη τούτο σημαίνει ανάδειξη και
προστασία σπάνιων βοτάνων, αλλά και στήριξη
στις τοπικές κοινωνίες. Μία από τις πρόσφα-
τες δράσεις της Korres, σε συνεργασία με το
Εργαστήριο Βιολογικής Γεωργίας του Γεωπο-
νικού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, είναι η χαρτο-
γράφηση της ελληνικής χλωρίδας, προκειμέ-
νου να αναδειχθούν οι πιο κατάλληλες περιο-
χές για την καλλιέργεια βοτάνων. Το πράσινο
DNA της εταιρείας όμως κυλάει και στη Μονά-
δα Εκχυλίσεων Βιολογικών Βοτάνων, που λει-
τουργεί με περιβαλλοντικούς όρους: για παρά-
δειγμα, χρησιμοποιούνται φυσικοί διαλύτες και
έτσι τα απόβλητα διατηρούνται σε χαμηλά επί-
πεδα. Το ταξίδι των ελληνικών βοτάνων μέσω
της Korres σε όλον τον κόσμο με 400 προϊό-
ντα αποδεικνύει ότι η διαχρονική αξία που λέ-
γεται φύση έχει έναν προορισμό: την επιτυχία.
