hotel chains rarely go together. But this is what
makes Kathleen Taylor, president and CEO of the
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, such a glowing
exception. “At Four Seasons, the Golden Rule – to
treat others as we’d wish to be treated ourselves
– has always been our guiding principle”, say
Taylor, who takes this philosophy to heart: she
planted the first tree in Costa Rica earlier this year,
as part of the 10 Million Trees initiative that marks
the company’s long-term commitment to plant 10
million trees around the world. In celebration of its
50th birthday, Four Seasons Hotels has launched
important environmental initiatives in the common
goal of protecting the planet. In addition, the hotels
are active in an array of environmental projects, from
regenerating the coral reefs in the Maldives to saving
elephants in Thailand. Dedication and commitment
to inspire future generations of travellers. | Περι-

λοντικές πρωτοβουλίες με στόχο την προστασία του
πλανήτη. Επίσης, τα ξενοδοχεία δραστηριοποιούνται
σε σειρά περιβαλλοντικών έργων, από την αναγέν-
νηση των κοραλλιογενών υφάλων στις Μαλδίβες ώς
τη διάσωση των ελεφάντων στην Ταϋλάνδη. Πίστη
και αφοσίωση, που θα εμπνεύσουν τις μελλοντικές
γενιές των ταξιδιωτών.
