ILCP recently ranked the Pulitzer prize-winning photographer’s “Stone Canyon” among the forty best Nature photographs of all time.
Renowned for blending large format landscape art photography with documentary photojournalism, Dykinga was eager to become one
of the principal supporters of iLCP’s Rapid Action Visual Expedition (RAVE) initiative that feautres a team of specialised photographers,
writers and cameramen working together to provide a comprehensive portrait of a conservation issue or threat in a very short period of
time: “Βy assembling RAVES, the iLCP has managed to expose threats to the environment and inform a global audience in an effort to
effect change”, he proudly told 2board and added “I’ m involved, because it gives me a chance to “pay back” and defend all the wild places
I hold so dear”.| Ο βραβευμένος με Pulitzer φωτογράφος, του οποίου έργο ήταν και η φωτογραφία Stone Canyon που κατατάχθηκε από το
iLCP στις 40 καλύτερες φωτογραφίες φύσης όλων των εποχών, είναι αφοσιωμένος στην υπεράσπιση του φυσικού κόσμου. O Dykinga συν-
δυάζει μοναδικά τη φωτογραφία με το ρεπορτάζ, ενώ πρωτοστάτησε στην πρωτοβουλία RAVE του iLCP, με την οποία μια ομάδα φωτογρά-
φων, δημοσιογράφων και κάμεραμαν συνεργάζονται για να παρουσιάσουν πολύ γρήγορα μια απειλή για το περιβάλλον. Mιλώντας στο 2board
τόνισε: «Συμμετέχω, γιατί έτσι μου δίνεται η ευκαιρία να δώσω κάτι πίσω και να υπερασπιστώ όλα τα άγρια μέρη που αγαπώ τόσο πολύ».
