Key Developments 2016
For Athens International Airport, 2016 proved to be another milestone year,
since not only passenger traffic recorded an all-time high performance and
enjoyed a strong rise but it also surpassed the 20 million mark. Both domestic
and international passengers achieved record levels, while record levels were
also reached in foreign residents’ international arrivals that for the first time
exceeded 4.5 million.
