How do you think you contribute to the
creation of the new face of Athens?
We live in a time where exchanging
information – and not to mention images
– is very direct. Through the use of
technology and social media in particular,
I am given the opportunity to share my
Athens, the real face of the city where I live,
work and experience life, showcasing its
hidden corners, beauties, spaces and events
in a lively European metropolis that boasts
an exceptionally youthful profile.
What is the future of the Divani Hotel
Group?
Our continued presence for the past 57 years
shows that as a Group, as well as like a small
family, we face up to the challenges of each
era with reflexes that respect our visitors
and respond to every situation. Especially
now, that we are expecting to welcome the
big hotel Groups in a city that becomes
all the more attractive and appealing for
demanding, international visitors.
Will we see new ventures similar to the
Brunch at Divani Caravel?
Keeping an eye on the trends, adopting
them and customizing them to fit our
spaces, guests and history is not only a
challenge, but the main ingredient of our
everyday routine and constant search for
improvement and knowledge.
What gives you great pleasure at work?
The daily contact with our guests, the joy
of welcoming people, providing services
and meeting their needs, receiving smiles
at the end followed by the promise, and the
actualization of their return.
What is Athens missing, and what is there
in excess?
A little bit more organization,
understanding and respect for the History
of the city.
