Claire Lloyd is a photographer, author, boat in the local
and filmmaker who has enjoyed a wide port - A collection
career incorporated various mediums; from of seasonal
magazines and commercials to creating vegetables
living spaces. Claire’s book ‘Sensual Living’
(published by Conran Octopus, 1998) was just
the beginning of a new perceiving lifestyle
while she has just written, photographed and
designed her second book, ‘My Greek Island
Home’ (published by Penguin Lantern), a
very intimate account of her daily life living
in a Greek village on the island of Lesvos. It
tells of her journey from Australia to London
and the Greek village she now calls home

Η Claire Lloyd είναι φωτογράφος,
συγγραφέας και σκηνοθέτις με επιτυχημένη
πορεία σε περιοδικά και διαφημιστικά, αλλά
ακόμα και στη δημιουργία κατοικήσιμων
χώρων. Το βιβλίο της Sensual living (εκδόσεις
Conran Octopus, 1998) ήταν μόνο η αρχή για
ένα νέο τρόπο αντίληψης της ζωής, καθώς και
για τη συγγραφική της καριέρα. Ακολούθησε
το δεύτερο βιβλίο της My Greek Ιsland Ηome
(εκδόσεις Penguin Lantern), στο οποίο
επιμελήθηκε τα κείμενα, τις φωτογραφίες και
το σχεδιασμό. Αποτελεί τον προσωπικό της
απολογισμό από την καθημερινή της ζωή σε
ένα χωριό στο νησί της Λέσβου. Αφηγείται
το ταξίδι της από την Αυστραλία στο Λονδίνο
και από κει στο ελληνικό χωριό, που τώρα
