“Welcome to our home!” – On Friday, November 27th, the children from the Association “The Smile of the Child” offered a warm welcome to Athens International Airport, and co-sponsors J&P and TOMI ABETE, in their home in Kareas, following the recent restoration of the house by the airport and its partners. During an event organised at the children’s house in Kareas, the young hosts, 34 children aged from 7 months to 18 years old, invited their guests to a rich “family lunch party”, With a big smile, the children from the “Smile of the Child” thanked the airport for its warm embrace since 2001, and more particularly for its latest initiative, that gave them a safer, more comfortable and functional environment. The Chairman of the Association “The Smile of the Child”, Costas Giannopoulos, AIA’s CEO, Yiannis Paraschis, and representatives from J&P and TOMI ABETE, were all there to celebrate and share this special occasion with the children.
