On Thursday, November 14th, the Athens International Airport will be welcoming the young and dynamic theatrical company “Abovo”, who will entertain passengers and airport visitors with “Escape…”, a theatrical art performance especially designed to be staged at a … transition location, ie. ideally, inside the airport’s Terminal!

“Three people arrive at the airport with the intention to abandon Greece forever!! They are looking for a future somewhere else, but their previous life has not had its last word yet… A few unexpected encounters will try to hold them here. What are they going to do? Will they stay or will they go?”  

This very special -Perform in Art- performance is part of the “Fly me to the Moon” entertainment programme staged at the airport, in cooperation with the cultural platform «ελculture».

“Abovo” is one of the most active and popular theatrical companies in Athens. Having studied physical theatre in London, the members of the group developed a special genre of devised theatre during the last 8 years. Since 2004 they have put on stage 9 performances and they have been awarded in Greece and abroad.
