Athens International Airport, in cooperation with the Museum of Decorative Bread, would like to welcome passengers and airport visitors to a new photo exhibition under the title “The roads of Bread”, an exciting tour in the world of bread, its customs and heritage (on display from May 14th until August 30th 2012).
Through rich photographic material, the exhibition presents traditional and decorative bread from Greece and abroad, based on related customs (the cycle of life and the cycle of time). Paying tribute to the environment and “Mother Earth, the “Roads of Bread” exhibition aims at the promotion of the bread heritage and its preservation.
The exhibition is located at the Airport’s “Art & Environment” area (Departures, upper level, Entrance 3). It is open daily on a 24-hour basis, accessible to all passengers and visitors.
