“Theatricult”
The awarded digital campaign of Athens International Airport and Marketing Greece “Speak Aθenian. Be an Aθenian.” that was launched in December 2015 to promote through social media the city of Athens and its dynamics as a city break destination….. …. now turns a page in the new “lexicon of the city”, and continues a “live” Athenian experience, with “Theatricult”! In cooperation with the Athens & Epidaurus Festival and αθηνόραμα.gr, from Friday 10/6 through Thursday 16/6, a contest for 280 invitations is “on air”! Athenians as well as city visitors are eligible for one of the eight performances of the Festival, while, at the same time, there will be discounts and surprises for the… “followers” of the new “lexicon” of Athens at participating shops in the airport main terminal. The campaign “Speak Aθenian. Be an Aθenian.” constitutes the third part of the AΘenian… trilogy; it is, namely, the continuation of last year's campaign “I’m an Athenian too”, as well as of the Athens International Airport’s previous campaign “PerhaΨ you’re an AΘenian too!”. By following the campaigns, participants initially “acknowledged” their Athenian identity, and then “became” Athenians; and now, they live their Athenian experience, and, what is more, they …speak “Athenian”! The campaign is being held under the auspices of the City of Athens with the support of the Athens-Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association, Aegean Airlines and Swiss.
