“Renewables-Made in Germany” exhibition at Athens International Airport

The use of renewable energy sources is the topic of the exhibition “Renewables – Made in Germany”, which will be on display from November 1st to November 25th 2007 at Athens International Airport, jointly presented by the German Embassy Athens and Athens International Airport S.A. The exhibition is located in the Environment Information Centre of the airport, departure level / entrance 3, and it is open to the public 24 hours a day.

This exhibition was composed by dena, the German Energy Agency. Posters and charts illustrate technologies for the use of renewable energy sources, such as wind power, photovoltaics, solarthermics, bio energy, water power, and geothermics.

On Wednesday, November 14th at 11:00 hrs., Ambassador Dr. Wolfgang Schultheiss and the CEO of Athens International Airport Dr. Ioannis Paraschis will officially present the exhibition.
