Athens International Airport has the pleasure to announce the fuel fees policy for 2005 at "Eleftherios Venizelos" Airport, which is expected to lower the total fuel cost of the airlines refuelled at AIA by 3 million dollars. The throughput fee, which is charged by "Olympic Fuel Company S.A.", is decreased by 23%, i.e. 4 Euros per thousand litres, while the fuel fee of the Airport Company remains at the same level for a third consecutive year. The above decrease in the throughput fee, and the Airport fee remaining at the same level, are the result of the coordinated action and collaboration between "Athens International Airport S.A." and "Olympic Fuel Company S.A.", with common aim to contribute towards the improvement of competitiveness in relation to the fuel price at Athens Airport.
