Passengers and airport visitors will enjoy music from across the world for 3 days in the airport terminal as a live music programme “MusicPort”, will present three popular Greek music groups, that will bring rhythm, melodies and dancing to the terminal.
Starting on Friday, May 25th, encardia will be at the airport’s public departures area…without prior “musical flight announcement”, carrying in their luggage” the joyful rhythms of the tarantella, along with music, songs and dances from the rich musical tradition of the Italian South (encardia will be playing between 11a.m. and 4p.m.)
On June 1st, the Bandoneando trio will make its surprise performance at the airport from 12 to 7 p.m., filling the departures area with dancing, vocals, and the sounds of bandoneons, treating passengers to a tour through classic tango creations.
Musical Fridays at Athens International Airport continue on June 8th with Burger Project; the band will be performing for passengers and visitors who will find themselves on departures level between 12.30 and 6 p.m., with a mix of Greek and international pop & rock music, in creative and humorous “surprise” versions. The bands will mingle with passing by passengers and visitors, adding a special musical tone to the travel experience or their airport visit, with an unforgettable live show!
