On a … romantic note! On February 14th, “Opera Chaotique” perform at Athens Airport

On Friday, February 14th, on the occasion of St. Valentine's day, Athens International Airport, in a romantic mood, welcomes “Opera Chaotique” for a Perform in Art show, dedicated to love and life!  

Interactivity with the audience, references to famous romantic couples, jazzy-operatic aesthetics as well as a mix with other music genres, ranging from punk and African music to musical and cabaret, are just a sample of what the visitors and the passengers will enjoy at the airport (Departures Level – Airport’s Shopping Center – open Access Area - Time of performances: 13:00 – 15:00 (2 performances X 30’).

Perform in Art is part of the Fly me to the Moon project, an Athens Airport cooperation with the culture platform “ελculture”.

Brief Bio:

“Opera Chaotique”, created in May 2011 by Tenorman and Voodoo Drummer, have already given a series of successful performances in Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, London, Athens, Belgrade, Bucharest, Budapest, Wroclaw, Ankara, Portugal and Italy, while they have cooperated with Jolly Jumper (NR), Louisiana Red, Bob Brozman, Blaine Reininger and Angela Brown (US). In May 2012, the Death of the Phantom of the Opera” was released, a surreal story of the Phantom of the Opera, who travels to New Orleans and has a turbulent relationship with Voodoo Queen, that ends in a tragedy..
