Athens International Airport’s summer 2005 timetable welcomes two new direct scheduled connections to Dublin and Helsinki. Starting from July 3rd and until September 30th, MALEV – Hungarian Airlines, represented in Greece by Goldair since 1961, launches direct weekly flights from Athens to Dublin and from Athens to Helsinki, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, on brand new B737 – 700 or 800 NG aircraft. With these new connections, MALEV upgrades its network in Greece and strengthens its position in the local market. Furthermore, for Athens International Airport and Goldair, this is a significant development as, to date, Dublin and Helsinki were serviced only via connecting flights. Besides the Greek travelling public benefiting from the new services, we look forward to welcoming visitors from Ireland and Finland now flying directly to our country. Round trip ticket prices from Athens to Dublin and Helsinki begin from 99 and 129 euro, respectively.
