50 years after the declaration of Samaria and its famous Gorge as a National Park, Athens International Airport and the Management Body of Samaria National Park, invite travellers and airport visitors in a unique photo journey: The exhibition “Life Embracing Rock” displays the rare beauty, the diversity, and the enormous ecological capital of the Cretan “Lefka Ori” mountains, through 32 images by 26 Greek photographers, who crossed the alpine environment and captured the roughness and the harmony of the mountains, in various forms, moments and colours.
