This Friday, May 8th, the Greek National Opera’s mezzo sopranos, Eleni Voudouraki and Eirini Athanasiou, will offer a surprise performance for the airport passengers and visitors! The artists, accompanied by a piano, are going to present a programme of famous arias from the opera repertoire, at Departures level. The performance of the Greek National Opera, the biggest cultural organization of Greece, is a very special moment for the Athens International Airport, a GNO active supporter. The relocation of the GNO to its new home, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Faliro, is going to become the milestone of contemporary culture, changing the map of Athens.
