e-check in and free WiFi at Athens International Airport

Amid the Christmas traffic, Athens International Airport would like to remind travellers of a number of e-services they can use, including e-check in and free WiFi; benefiting from online services, passengers and airport visitors can make their travel arrangements faster and easier and enjoy their time at the airport.

e-check in

  • Web check in ,can be performed either remotely or by using the airport’s dedicated points with pc and printing facilities at Departures Level. Users get access to a menu of all airlines providing e-check in, and access their respective e-check in links
  • Self check in using the airport’s 18 Common Use Self Service (CUSS)kiosks(the airlines currently connected to the system are Aegean Airlines, Olympic Air, Air France, KLM, Austrian Airlines, Iberia, Lufthansa).
  • Mobile check in through users’ enabled devices, facilitated by the airport’s reading infrastructure at the check in areas and departure gates. Currently provided by a specific number of airlines.
 

Free WiFi for one hour at the airport

Athens International Airport would also like to remind all passengers and airport visitors using laptop devices or smart phones, that WiFi is offered in all terminal areas - free of charge for 60 minutes.

Moreover, AIA’s website visitors can navigate through a series of dynamic and innovative applications, such as:

  • geographical maps with analytical information regarding all airlines flying to/from AIA and their destinations
  • a sophisticated “real time flight information” application, offering users real time info on flight arrivals/departures
  •  airport guides with analytical information about the airport’s travel services, shops, restaurants, the “Airport Museum”, the “Children’s Creative Entertainment Area”, etc.
