Concessions for Shopping, Dining and Services at the new Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos"

Athens International Airport S.A., the owner and operator of the new Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" has successfully awarded the concessions for Shopping, Dining and Services at the new Airport.

The duty free and duty paid retail stores, as well as the food & beverage and service outlets, will be developed in the new Airport in a total area of approximately 7,000 sq.m.

In detail, the concession agreements are as follows:

A. The duty free stores will be developed in an area of approximately 1,000 sq.m. by the company Hellenic Duty Free Shops S.A.

B. The duty paid stores will be developed in approximately 3,200 sq.m. by the following companies:

  1. HELLENIC DUTY FREE SHOPS S.A. with 8 stores:
    • 1 perfume and cosmetics store, which will also include shop-in-the-shop areas of established brands, such as FOLLIE-FOLLIE, BULGARI, MONTBLANC.
    • 1 liquor, spirits and tobacco store
    • 1 toiletries store offering, amongst others, Beauty Care, Body Care, Women's Personal Care, Hair Care, Health Care, Baby Care, Promotional Gifts
    • 2 last minute shopping multi-stores offering selected products from all categories
    • 1 Jewellery shop
    • 1 Greek delicatessen store
    • 1 Confectionery store offering gift packs
  2. THE NUANCE GROUP HELLAS S.A., with 4 stores:
    • 1 leather goods and accessories store of the brand BALLY
    • 1 accessories store of the brand HERMES
    • 1 store offering watches by established brands, such as Chopard, IWC, Frank Muller, Tag Heuer, Baume & Mercier, R. Weil
    • 1 store featuring contemporary men's and women's fashion and accessories brands, such as Max Mara, Guess, Lacoste, Wolford, La Perla
  3. PRESS STORES AT ATHENS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT S.A., with 4 shops offering Greek and foreign newspapers, magazines and best selling paperbacks, souvenirs, tobacco, stationery, maps etc.
  4. METROPOLIS S.A. with 2 music stores
  5. TSAKOR LTD. (The Cartoon Store) with gifts for children
  6. NEWSSTAND - ELEFTHEROUDAKIS S.A. bookstore
  7. P.GERMANOS S.A. consumer electronics, multimedia and mobile telephony shop
  8. D. PAPADIAMANTOPOULOS S.A. - OPTICAL with a store mainly offering sunglasses
  9. P.VASSILIADES LIMITED PARTNERSHIP pharmacy
  10. R.B.K. HELLAS S.A. offering sportswear of the brands REEBOK & ROCKPORT
  11. C. SARAFIDIS BROS S.A. offering handbags, baggage and other travel items by the brands Kipling, Delsey, Samsonite, Mandarina Duck, TUMI, Bricks Bridge, Diesel, Boblebee, The SAK, Lamarthe, Cerruti 1881, Spalding
  12. TIE RACK LTD. with men's and women's fashion accessories
  13. CLUB FLORAL - ANTHISI LTD. flower shop
  14. A store offering licensed products of the Olympic Games Athens 2004.

C. The outlets offering services will be developed in approximately 700 sq.m. by the following companies:

D. The 10 Food & Beverage outlets cover a total area of approximately 2,000 sq.m. and will be operated by the following companies:

  • LOUIS SBARRO RESTAURANTS HELLAS S.A. with food court including an Italian restaurant Sbarro, Greek cuisine and salad, sandwich and coffee bars
  • HOST INTERNATIONAL HELLAS LTD. with Illy cafe, Heineken bar, Dodoni ice cream
  • GRIGORIS MIKROGEVMATA S.A.
  • McDONALD'S HELLAS Ltd.
  • OLYMPIC CATERING S.A.

All aforementioned concessionaires will commence their operations at the new Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" upon the Airport opening.
