Athens International Airport welcomes its 100 millionth passenger!

Athens International Airport welcomed its 100 millionth passenger. During the 7 years since its opening, the airport has welcomed 100 million passengers flying to or from Athens on more than 1.3 million flights!

The lucky passenger was Greek, and arrived at Athens International Airport on Monday afternoon at 18:15 from Paris on Air France flight AF2332. The airport gave its 100 millionth passenger a special welcome, with its best wishes for many exciting air trips!

Our special passenger was welcomed by Messrs. George Karamanos, Communications & Marketing Director of Athens International Airport and Kostas Harisanopoulos, Station Manager Air France & KLM.

The lucky passenger received an antique aircraft replica from Athens International Airport, while Air France offered her 2 free round-trip tickets to Paris, with everyone’s wishes for a wonderful trip!
