Athens International Airport "snowflake" launches scheduled flights to "Eleftherios Venizelos"

Athens International Airport welcomes a newcomer, the Skandinavian airline "snowflake", which started scheduled services between Athens and the cities of Stockholm and Copenhagen as from today.

"snowflake" - established last month as part of SAS group - operates non-stop, low-fare services to 15 destinations in Europe.

Flights out of Athens will serve

Stockholm twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) and Copenhagen three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays)

"snowflake" is the second airline commencing operations at "Eleftherios Venizelos" during the last two weeks. Athens airport further expanded its network with the inauguration, on Sunday, March 30th, 2003, of Luxair's new daily route between Athens and Luxembourg (with an intermediate stop at Bergamo airport, located 47 km from Milan).
