Athens International Airport - IT & Telecommunications projects at Dubai and Hyderabad international airports

Athens International Airport (AIA) extends its external IT&T consulting activity, using its acknowledged expertise in two more projects, at Dubai International Airport and the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad, Hyderabad in India.

AIA’s cooperation - via Dubai Technology Partners - with Dubai International Airport the fastest growing airport in the world, relates to the development of a 3-year Strategic Master Plan for the airport’s IT Unit, whereas at Hyderabad, AIA is evaluating the existing systems readiness, the integration & the expansion possibilities. A second phase also includes the evaluation of new application state of-the-art systems to guarantee operational excellence.

AIA expands its dynamic presence in the international aviation market through the provision of innovative high-technology solutions at international airports aiming to develop or re-structure their IT organization, infrastructure and service provision. AIA’s projects to date include Saudi Arabia’s Dammam Airport, Kazakhstan’s Astana Airport, Australia’s Sydney Airport, Albania’s Tirana Airport, Germany’s Dusseldorf and Hamburg airports, Hungary’s Budapest, China’s Beijing, Thailand’s Bangkok, and Singapore airports.
