Athens International Airport this week welcomes in Athens the IATA 123rd Schedules Conference (November 13-16), expected to attract over 1,200 delegates from 300 airlines and more than 200 airports. A “working conference”, part of the scheduling process, this gathering is held twice a year (in June & November), allowing airlines and airports to discuss the schedules of the following period depending on each airport’s slot availability. The IATA 123rd Schedules Conference will be dealing with the Summer 2009 schedules (April – October). Athens International Airport has the honour of hosting another major aviation event in Athens, and the opportunity of presenting its development plans and capacity advantages, as well as the competitiveness of the Greek market, at the Conference’s exhibition. The IATA 123rd Schedules Conference in Athens is also an excellent opportunity for the city to invite the international aviation family to witness its new image, upgraded infrastructure and services, covering a wide spectrum of business activities and more. The IATA 123rd Schedules Conference opens this coming Thursday, November 13th, at the Athenaeum Intercontinental.
