On the occasion of the 5-years anniversary of Athens International Airport and the 10-years anniversary since the establishment of the Airport Company, the Annual Assembly, Congress & Exhibition of Airports Council International (ACI) Europe will be held for the first time in Greece from 14 through 16 June (Astir Palace Hotel), with the participation of leading aviation, airport, and airline executives, world aerospace industry representatives, EU legislative bodies, academics, and advisors.
During the ACI Congress (15-16 June), in-depth discussions will be dealing with airport and aviation issues, with the participation of important aviation executives, among them Mr. Daniel Calleja, Director of Air Transport DGTREN, European Commission, and Mr. Mike Clasper, Chief Executive, BAA plc.
Continuing its dynamic presence in ACI Europe, this year Athens International Airport has the honour of welcoming the international aviation community in Athens, and hosting a series of events, including the Gala Dinner that is going to be held in the evening of 15 June at the Olympic Stadium’s “Agora”.
On the occasion of the annual meeting of ACI Europe, Athens International Airport S.A.’s Deputy CEO & ACI Europe Vice President, Dr. Yiannis Paraschis, stated: “It is a great pleasure for Athens International Airport to welcome this year to Athens the biggest gathering of the European airport community.
