µαζί µε το αρχιτεκτονικό γραφείο του Μιχάλη
Φωτιάδη, είναι στο σύνολό του 25.000τ.µ. και
διαθέτει εκθεσιακούς χώρους µε εµβαδόν
14.000τ.µ. Το µουσείο επικεντρώνεται στα
αρχαιολογικά ευρήµατα της ευρύτερης περιοχής
της Ακρόπολης και χτίστηκε µε σκοπό να τα
στεγάσει όπως τους αρµόζει – περισσότερα
από 4.000 εκθέµατα φιλοξενούνται µέσα σε
αυτό το υποδειγµατικής αρχιτεκτονικής κτίριο.
