After presenting her Spring/Summer collection in Miami earlier this year, Emmanuela is launching
her first collection of swimsuits and beach wear for summer 2012. She studied Communications
& Mass Media at Athens University but soon realized her heart was in the world of fashion and
design. Obtaining a Master’s from Istituto Marangoni in London, Emmanuela went on to work
for leading fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen, acquiring skills and experience that
are evident in her highly promising collection inspired by the inimitable colours of the Greek
summer. | Το άστρο της Εμμανουέλας ανέτειλε όταν αποφάσισε να ακολουθήσει την καρδιά της
που χτυπούσε για το χώρο της μόδας και του design, παρά τις σπουδές της στο Τμήμα Επικοινω-
νίας και ΜΜΕ του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Για να πετύχει το όνειρό της, μαθήτευσε πλάι στους
καλύτερους, μεταξύ των οποίων και ο οίκος μόδας Alexander McQueen. Το πιο αποφασιστικό
βήμα της όμως το έκανε φέτος στο Μαϊάμι, όπου παρουσίασε την πρώτης της ολοκληρωμένη
κολεξιόν με μαγιό για την Άνοιξη/Καλοκαίρι 2012, που είναι εμπνευσμένη από τα χρώματα του

Nikos is the co-founder of Taxibeat, a company
that launched a groundbreaking application
that aims to revolutionize the taxi industry in
cities around the world. The concept is based
on an application that may be downloaded for
free and enables taxi drivers to advertise their
location and availability to nearby passengers
who are searching for a taxi using their
smartphone. Passengers on the other hand
can select the driver they prefer based on
all kinds of information offered, such as the
distance, the car model, even ratings from
previous users, and all this for free! The idea
is spreading like a virus and soon Taxibeat
