Business Telephony Services

The Business Telephony service aims at the provision of telephony services to AIA’s internal and

external users. AIA Telephony network is based on Cisco IP Voice Infrastructure. CUCM is an ip-
based platform within the enterprise that switches calls between users on local lines while allowing
all users to share a certain number of external phone lines.

A 5-digit closed numbering plan is used for all the airport community users with Direct inward
dialing (DID) characteristics. All DID extensions belong to the range of 3XXXX – 49999, while
outside callers dial the numbers 21035 - as a public switched telephone network (PSTN) area code,

which is a fixed-length set of digits forming the most-significant part of the dialing sequence to
reach a telephone subscriber within the Airport.
